Tiffanie Elise

Growing up, my family moved a handful of times around the state of Michigan. We later moved to South Carolina during my high school years. Moving was not a scare for me because I am an outgoing person who loves to travel across states meeting new people and hearing stories from their lives. People come from all different walks of life and have amazing stories to share.

I strongly believe that my passion for journalism came from meeting new people and taking the time to listen. I am a lifelong learner who believes in learning as you go. I am curious about the world around me and want to get the chance to hear others stories.

I have spent the past years interning at news stations, while also working as a writer, producer, reporter, and anchor. In 2015 I completed my internship at WYFF News 4 in Greenville, SC and have become a full-time employee. In my years at the station, I have carried out two successful newscast launches. In 2015 WYFF News 4 added an hour-long Sunday night newscast. In 2017 WYFF News 4 launched the 4pm newscast. I have worked on that newscast since its launch in August of that year. While working at the station I am able to work closely with producers and the web teams.

During the summer of 2014, I was able to work as a multimedia journalist at Orion Neighborhood Television in my hometown of Lake Orion, Michigan, and as an intern at FOX 2 News in Detroit, Michigan. A few of my day-to-day responsibilities include reporting and anchoring for ONTV News and writing and producing for shows that air on FOX 2. While working at these two internships, I have sharpened my writing, videography and editing skills.

When I am not chasing down the latest stories, you can find me volunteering around the community, going for a jog with my dog Sadie, reading the newest novels or spending time with my family and friends. I am willing to move wherever my career will take me in order to keep working on my dream and sharing stories.

As a versatile player in the broadcast journalism industry, I can produce newscasts, along with reporting, shooting, writing and editing stories.
